Free printable bookmarks are great to have when you homeschool your kids.
I know we personally go through a large amount of book markers each year because we use bookmarks to mark each book that we use - textbooks and readers - so we don't have to spend time hunting where we are (anything to speed things up!)
We've used everything from ribbons, to braided yarns, to jumbo paperclips.
I have to say though that my favorite is to use pretty bookmarks.
If they happen to have inspirational sayings or poems for homeschool encouragement on them, well...so much the better.
These book markers also come in handy for those "bad" days and I don't know any home school moms who don't have bad days.
