Abeka Video School

I have used the abeka video school program with my older son for five years now. In my case, once my children reach a certain age (around 7th or 8th grade), I begin to struggle.
It is difficult for me to keep up with the work load and educational needs of older children, especially while I am still teaching phonics and numbers to little ones!
For me, the abeka video school allows me to step back and let the video school teach my older children, while I am close by monitoring their work.
I think the program is terrific. It has been very successful in teaching my first son and I plan to use it with each child as they reach the middle school age.
In our family, we don't use it for the younger grades. My children would not be able to sit at the computer or television for that extended of a time....they are far too restless of a bunch. I wait until they are a little older.
I would, and do recommend the Abeka video school to other families. It has been a blessing to us.
